Safety Devices for Accumulators

Gas Safety Valve

A spring-loaded relief valve designed for gas-side pressures up to 350 bar. When the set pressure is exceeded, the valve opens automatically and recloses after pressure drops by a maximum of 10% below the set point.

Bursting Disc Plugs

Bursting discs protect pressure equipment from excessive gas-side pressure. If system pressure exceeds the rated burst value, the internal membrane ruptures, releasing nitrogen safely and preventing catastrophic failure.

Temperature Fuse

It offers thermal protection, activating when temperatures exceed safe limits, preventing potential hazards due to overheating.

These indicators offer real-time monitoring of piston positions within the accumulator, aiding in assessing operational status and facilitating maintenance by providing accurate positional information and operational control. Steel Brackets

Brackets are made of steel and are screwed onto a wall or frame to absorb weight. These open-design brackets are mounted on the oil port side of bladder or piston accumulators, providing reliable support.

C-Type Clamps

C-type clamps, available in one-piece or two-piece construction with a central screw, are the most popular choice. They are usually fitted with rubber inserts to minimize mechanical vibration. Standard material is galvanized steel, with stainless steel available on request.

U-Bolt Clamps

U-bolt clamps with plastic pipe saddles are commonly used for piston accumulators. For nitrogen bottles and pressure vessels, they are supplied without the plastic saddle. The saddle reduces vibration and ensures proper grip and mounting.

Its recommended to use a single clamp, when the accumulator length is less than twice its diameter. For greater lengths, we recommend using two or more clamps or one clamp and one bracket with support ring.
