Reliable diaphragm hydraulic accumulators for industrial and mobile systems
Diaphragm Accumulators are small reservoirs made of high tensile steel and consist of a fluid section and gas section, separated by a flexible diaphragm. The gas side is filled with inert gas (normally nitrogen) to specified pre-charge gas pressure, based on application needs.
The fluid port end is connected to the pressure line of the hydraulic circuit, so that the fluid under pressure enters into the accumulator. With the drop in system pressure, the compressed gas filled at the other side of the diaphragm begins to expand and thus forces the release of this fluid into the system.

FAQ
Techknow Engineering Enterprise blends years of hydraulic-system experience with modern engineering to deliver top-quality diaphragm accumulators. Our products use premium materials and advanced design techniques to ensure long life, efficiency, and reliable performance across varied industrial applications.
Diaphragm accumulators store pressurized fluid to stabilize system pressure, absorb shocks, and compensate for leaks. The result is smoother operation, less wear on components, better energy efficiency, and improved overall system reliability—especially where continuous flow control and steady pressure are required.
- Mobile hydraulics and construction equipment
- Industrial machinery with compact space constraints
- Marine applications and energy storage systems
- High-cycle environments requiring fast response
- Solar energy and other systems needing precise pressure control
Diaphragm accumulators use a flexible diaphragm to separate fluid and gas, offering excellent sealing and contamination resistance. Compared with piston or bladder designs, they often perform better in high-frequency cycling and maintain separation reliably under harsh conditions.
Routine maintenance includes checking precharge pressure, visual inspection for external damage, verifying mounting hardware, and ensuring system cleanliness. Techknow provides full maintenance guidance and support to keep accumulators performing safely and reliably over time.
Selection depends on operating pressure, fluid volume, temperature range, cycling frequency, and available space. Techknow's technical team offers expert assistance to size and specify the correct diaphragm accumulator for your system requirements.
Quality assurance is central to our process: diaphragms undergo pressure cycling, burst, and integrity tests. We use certified materials, precision manufacturing, and an ISO-certified quality system with full component traceability.
Absolutely. Techknow specializes in custom solutions: varied diaphragm materials, housings, coatings, connection types, manifold configurations, and environment-specific options—designed with your performance and installation needs in mind.
