Accumulator High Pressure Booster Unit (N2-Server)
Standard commercial gas bottles are usually loaded at 100–120 bar. For applications requiring pre-charge pressures beyond 120 bar, additional equipment is required. The Accumulator High Pressure Booster Unit is specifically designed to achieve this.
How the High Pressure Booster Unit Works
The booster unit is a compact hydraulic system with an oil supply and a piston accumulator that functions as a compressor for nitrogen (inert gas). The required pre-charge pressure is set via a digital display; once started, the piston accumulator compresses the nitrogen until the set pressure is reached. The charging cycle then completes and stops automatically.
Applications of N2 Booster Units
Our N2-Servers (booster units) are suitable for charging and supplementing pre-charge pressure in diaphragm, bladder, and piston accumulators, as well as in accumulator stations (both bladder and piston configurations).
